We know that the last thing you want is to have your trip spoilt by equipment that lets you down and our fully qualified staff will aim to ensure that this does not happen. We have a proud reputation as specialists in the fitting of tramping and trail walking boots and shoes.

Trek ‘n’ Travel stocks outdoor, travel and leisure clothing, footwear, packs, sleeping bags, tents and a wide range of accessories. Where possible, Trek ‘n’ Travel stocks New Zealand made products such as Earth Sea Sky clothing. We also ensure all our stock is from exclusive brands with a reputation for reliability, such as One Planet packs and sleeping bags, Merrell and Keen shoes, Meindl boots and Earth Sea Sky and Rab clothing.

Trek ‘n’ Travel has been owned and operated by Colin Hancock for the past twenty years. Colin has many years of experience in the outdoor industry in New Zealand. Colin started out in the outdoor industry travelling the country representing two well know New Zealand outdoor equipment manufacturers and then moved into the retail sector. Colin has passed his expert knowledge and training on to his staff who are all involved in using the equipment they sell in the outdoors.

Trek ‘n’ Travel is pleased to be able to assist many local clubs, schools and individuals with sponsorship as a means of supporting involvement in outdoor activities.
